- Photos: You can optionally upload a profile photo from your device gallery.
This information is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Usage Analytics (Anonymous)
We collect anonymous usage data to improve our app, including:
- App opens and session duration
- Templates viewed and downloaded

All analytics data is anonymized and cannot be used to personally identify you.
2.3 Information We Access
Gallery/Photo Library: Accessed only when you choose to add a profile photo. We never access or upload other photos.
Internet Connection: Used to download templates and send anonymous analytics.
Network State: Used to detect when you're offline and provide appropriate offline functionality.

Local Data (Name & Photo)
- Stored securely in your device's encrypted local storage.
- Used only for personalization within the app.
- Deleted when you clear app data or uninstall the app.

Local Storage
- Personal data stored in an encrypted SQLite database.
- Protected by Android's sandbox and permission system.

- No personal data (name/photo) stored on our servers.
- Only non-personal template data is hosted on our CDN.
- All analytics events are transmitted securely via HTTPS.
Data Retention
- Local Data: Retained until you uninstall or clear app data.
- Analytics Data: Retained up to 24 months for performance analysis.
- Template Cache: Automatically managed by the app.

Used for serving templates; no personal data is transmitted.
Analytics Services
We may use trusted analytics providers such as:
- Firebase Analytics (Google)
- Custom internal analytics infrastructure
All analytics data is anonymized and handled under each provider's respective privacy policy.
Sharing Services
When you use the "Share" feature:
- You choose where to share (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram).
- Shared content is generated locally.
- We do not track or store shared data.
6. Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to:
- View: Your saved name and photo.
- Edit: Update your name or photo anytime.
- Delete: Remove your name/photo by:
- Clearing them in the app's profile settings,
- Clearing app data via device settings, or
- Uninstalling the app.
7. Data Deletion
To completely delete all data:
- Go to Profile → Clear Name and Photo, or
- Device Settings → Apps → Make Status → Clear Data, or
- Uninstall the app.
All locally stored information will be permanently removed.
8. Children's Privacy
Make Status is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
As all data is stored locally and no user accounts are required, parents can manage app usage directly through device settings.
If you believe your child's data was collected through analytics, please contact us for removal.
9. Permissions We Request
Required Permissions
- Internet: To download templates and send analytics.
- Network State: To detect connectivity and enable offline mode.
Optional Permissions
- Read Media Images / Storage Access:
- Only used when selecting a profile photo.
- Denying this permission does not affect other app features.
10. No User Accounts
Make Status does not require registration or login. We do not:
- Collect emails or passwords
- Create user accounts
- Track users across devices
- Link data to identifiable individuals

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.
Information may only be shared when:

- Necessary to protect our rights
- You explicitly share templates via external apps

We implement industry-standard security measures:
- Encryption: Local data encrypted in SQLite.
- HTTPS: All transmissions secured.
- No Cloud Sync: Personal data remains on your device.
- Android Security: Protected by Android's sandbox environment.
While we take precautions, no electronic system is 100% secure.
